Grand Canyon 1
Two pictures of the Grand Canyon from near Hermits Rest (I think). In the second one you can see just a bit of the Colorado River in the center of the picture.
These two pictures were taken from a location west of Grand Canyon Village and the first shows Bright Angel Trail. During Easter Vacation (maybe 1963), while I was at the University of Arizona, three of us hiked down the Kaibab Trail, overnight at Bright Angel Campground, overnight at Indian Garden Campground and then up the trail that you see. The second one shows the Bright Angel Lodge Complex on the canyon rim.
